Tours at the Biennial are provided in a special format by mediators — specially trained guides.
Mediator is a new profession in the museum sphere. The goal of mediation is to provide every viewer with an inspiring experience, independently of their life experience or knowledge of art. The mediator engages viewers in a dialogue, helping them to connect with the artwork and to discuss art. Each mediated tour is unique, since it is complemented by the emotions, opinions, and commentary of the viewers.
